Harry Brook will captain England’s two 16-player squads as they prepare for three one-day internationals and five Twenty20 Internationals against Australia.
Jacob Bethell returns to the ODI squad after recovering from the knee injury he sustained during England’s ODI series win against India in July. Jofra Archer has also been included after being rested for the tri-series in Pakistan. Both players are among the changes to the squad that will travel for the ODI series in Australia.

Gus Atkinson, Sonny Baker and Josh Tongue join Archer as the four fast bowlers who will depart after the ODI series. England are managing their workloads ahead of the crucial ICC World Test Championship away series against South Africa.
